Limbaugh
"Limbaugh"--
take out the
"im"
and the
"b"
and you have
"Laugh."
But it wasn't funny,
was it,
how he invaded
our lives
over the radio?
Where once we tuned in
for joy and escape,
peace and rest,
dancing and stories and updates,
we found snakes
when we wanted nourishment,
we found stones
when we needed bread for the day.
Daily, he sowed hate
into the hearts
of our loved ones.
Daily, he divided our families
with lies and hate,
with narrowness beyond
what was already there.
What we needed was space
and we got confinement
over the airways.
He gave spit, not air.
Spewing is all you do with hate,
you're not breathing anymore.
