Limbaugh
"Limbaugh"--
take out the
"im"
and the
"b"
and you have
"Laugh."
But it wasn't funny,
was it,
how he invaded
our lives
over the radio?
When we tuned in
for comfort, something light,
he dealt a heavy burden,
parading as freedom and rights.
Daily he divided our families
with lies and hate,
with narrowness beyond
what was already ingrained.
What we needed was space,
not confinement.
He gave spit, not air,
for spewing is all folks do with hate.
Now he's not breathing anymore.
Hate had its day.
Death, the final say.
Nothing lasts forever.
We are relieved beside his grave.
When a dictator dies, liberty is safe.
